Our Mission
Three Pillars of the Endowment
Increase the endowment from $3.5M to $10M to fully fund what matters most.

BEVO Caretaking
The Silver Spurs Alumni Association funds BEVO’s truck, trailer, maintenance, transportation, and insurance — without any financial support from the University. Costs have doubled since the endowment was created in 2004. We need to balance paid appearances with the safety and health of BEVO and students.

Neighborhood Longhorns
The single largest educational outreach program run by UT’s Athletic Department. Silver Spurs fund over half the program and dedicate 25–30 hours weekly tutoring kids across 34 Title I elementary and middle schools in Central Texas.

Silver Spur Scholarships
Supporting four named scholarships administered by Texas Exes. Growing the endowment ensures their continuity and enables the creation of new annual Silver Spur scholarships over time.
